1. Introduction
These Community Guidelines govern your use of messaging features (direct messages and chat rooms) on the Alyssa Howard Enterprises platform. By using our messaging features, you agree to follow these guidelines and our Terms of Service.
Our community is built on mutual respect, authenticity, and positive connection. These guidelines exist to ensure that every member of our community feels safe, welcome, and heard.
2. Respectful Communication
We expect all community members to treat one another with kindness and respect. This means:
- Be kind and constructive in your interactions
- No harassment, bullying, or intimidation of any kind
- No hate speech or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, national origin, or any other protected characteristic
- Disagree respectfully — debate ideas, not people
- Be mindful that your words have impact on real people
3. Prohibited Content
The following content is strictly prohibited in all messages and chat rooms:
- Spam: Unsolicited bulk messages, repetitive content, or flooding channels
- Unsolicited Promotion: Advertising products, services, or other platforms without permission
- Explicit or Sexual Content: Sexually explicit material of any kind is not permitted
- Violent Threats: Threats of violence or harm against any person or group
- Doxxing: Sharing private personal information about others without their consent (home address, phone number, workplace, etc.)
- Illegal Activity: Content that promotes, facilitates, or constitutes illegal activity
- Impersonation: Pretending to be Alyssa, platform staff, or another community member
- Malicious Links: Links to malware, phishing sites, or harmful content
4. Media Sharing
When sharing images, videos, GIFs, or other media in messages:
- Only share media you have the right to share
- No NSFW (Not Safe For Work) images, videos, or other adult content — keep all media appropriate for a general audience
- Respect copyright — do not share copyrighted content without permission or attribution
- No deepfakes or digitally manipulated media designed to deceive or harm others
- No content depicting violence, gore, or other disturbing material
5. Reporting & Enforcement
We take community safety seriously. Here is how violations are handled:
5.1 Reporting Violations
If you see a message that violates these guidelines, use the report function to alert our moderation team. Reports are reviewed confidentially. You can also contact us directly at support@alyssaahoward.com.
5.2 Enforcement Actions
Consequences for violations are tiered based on severity and frequency:
- Warning: First-time or minor violations receive an educational warning explaining which guideline was violated
- Temporary Mute: Repeated or moderate violations result in a temporary restriction from messaging (duration varies by severity)
- Suspension: Serious or continued violations result in temporary account suspension
- Permanent Ban: Severe violations (illegal content, threats, extreme harassment) or repeated offenses after suspension result in permanent account termination
We reserve the right to skip directly to more severe actions for egregious violations, particularly those involving safety risks or illegal content.
6. Privacy in Messaging
Messaging on our platform carries privacy responsibilities for all participants:
- Moderation Review: Messages that are reported by other users may be reviewed by our moderation team to investigate potential violations. By using our messaging features, you acknowledge this possibility.
- No Sharing of Private Conversations:Do not share others' private messages without their explicit consent
- No Screenshots Without Consent:Taking screenshots of private conversations and sharing them publicly without the other party's consent is prohibited
- Personal Information:Do not share another person's private information in messages, even if that information seems publicly available
7. Age Requirement
You must be at least 13 years old to use messaging features on this platform. By accessing and using our messaging features, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. If we learn that a user under 13 is using our messaging features, their messaging access will be terminated immediately. See Section 2 of our Terms of Service for full eligibility requirements.
8. Changes to These Guidelines
Alyssa Howard Enterprises, LLC reserves the right to update these Community Guidelines at any time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you via email or a prominent notice on the platform. Your continued use of messaging features after the effective date of the updated guidelines constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
