2. 14-Day Refund Window

You may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial subscription purchase or renewal.

This applies to all subscription tiers (Insider, VIP, and Inner Circle) purchased on either a monthly or annual billing cycle.

3. Eligibility for Refunds

3.1 Eligible Situations

Refunds are available in the following situations:

  • You purchased a subscription within the last 14 days and wish to cancel
  • You were charged in error or double-charged for a subscription
  • Technical issues prevented you from accessing your subscription content (and we were unable to resolve the issue)
  • You were charged after canceling your subscription before the renewal date

3.2 Non-Eligible Situations

Refunds are NOT available in the following situations:

  • More than 14 days have passed since your purchase or most recent renewal
  • You canceled your subscription but did not request a refund within 14 days
  • You violated our Terms of Service and your account was terminated
  • You initiated a chargeback or payment dispute through your bank or credit card company (see Section 7)

4. Partial and Prorated Refunds

4.1 Monthly Subscriptions

For monthly subscriptions, if you cancel within the 14-day window, you will receive a full refund. We do not offer partial refunds for unused portions of the month.

4.2 Annual Subscriptions

Annual subscriptions are NOT prorated for partial year refunds.

If you cancel an annual subscription within 14 days of purchase or renewal, you will receive a full refund. After 14 days, no refunds are available for annual subscriptions, even if you cancel mid-year.

5. How to Request a Refund

5.1 Refund Request Process

To request a refund, follow these steps:

  1. Contact Support: Email us at support@alyssaahoward.com with the subject line "Refund Request"
  2. Provide Information: Include your account email address, subscription tier, and purchase date
  3. Reason (Optional): While not required, sharing your reason for cancellation helps us improve our service
  4. Verification: We may ask you to verify your identity to prevent fraud

5.2 Response Time

We will review and respond to your refund request within 2-3 business days. If approved, your refund will be processed within 5-10 business days.

6. Refund Processing

6.1 Payment Method

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase (credit card, debit card, etc.) through our payment processor, Stripe.

6.2 Processing Time

Once approved, refunds typically take:

  • Credit/Debit Cards: 5-10 business days (depending on your bank)
  • PayPal: 3-5 business days
  • Other Payment Methods: 7-14 business days

You will receive an email confirmation once the refund has been processed. If you do not see the refund after this time, please check with your financial institution.

6.3 Account Access

Upon refund approval, your subscription will be canceled and access to tier-restricted content will be revoked immediately. You may continue to access free content with a Free tier account.

7. Chargebacks and Disputes

IMPORTANT: Please contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank.

If you dispute a charge with your bank or credit card company without first contacting us, we may:

  • Immediately suspend your account pending resolution of the dispute
  • Deny future refund requests for chargeback abuse
  • Permanently ban your account if the chargeback is found to be fraudulent

We are committed to resolving billing issues directly with you. Please give us the opportunity to address your concerns before filing a chargeback.

8. Physical Products (Merchandise)

For physical merchandise purchased through our shop:

  • Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery for defective or damaged items (see our Shipping Policy)
  • Custom or print-on-demand items are non-refundable unless defective or misprinted
  • Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility unless the item is defective

9. Digital Products

For downloadable digital products (e-books, courses, templates, etc.):

  • Refunds are available within 14 days of purchase if the product is defective or materially different from the description
  • No refunds are available after downloading or accessing the digital product, unless there is a technical issue we cannot resolve
  • All sales of limited-edition or seasonal digital products are final

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.

Refund requests are governed by the policy in effect at the time of purchase. If we make significant changes that benefit customers (e.g., extending the refund window), we may apply them retroactively at our discretion.
