Shipping Policy

1. Overview

This Shipping Policy applies to physical merchandise and products purchased through our online shop. Alyssa Howard Enterprises, LLC partners with Printful for print-on-demand fulfillment and shipping services.

Note: Digital products (subscriptions, e-books, courses, etc.) are delivered electronically and are not subject to this Shipping Policy. See our Digital Delivery Policy for details.

2. Processing Time

Orders are processed and fulfilled by our print-on-demand partner, Printful.

Processing Time: 2-7 business days

This is the time needed to create your custom item before it ships (printing, packaging, quality control).

Processing times may be longer during peak seasons (holidays, sales events) or for complex custom orders.

3. Shipping Methods and Times

3.1 Domestic Shipping (US)

Delivery Time: 3-5 business days (after processing)

Total Time: Processing (2-7 business days) + Shipping (3-5 business days) = approximately 5-12 business days total

Domestic orders are typically shipped via USPS, UPS, or FedEx depending on location and product type.

3.2 International Shipping

Delivery Time: 10-14 business days (after processing)

Total Time: Processing (2-7 business days) + Shipping (10-14 business days) = approximately 12-21 business days total

International shipping times may vary depending on customs clearance and local postal services. We are not responsible for delays caused by customs.

3.3 Expedited Shipping

At this time, we do not offer expedited or rush processing. All orders follow the standard processing timeline outlined above.

4. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on:

  • Destination country and region
  • Package weight and dimensions
  • Selected shipping method (standard, express, etc.)
  • Number of items in your order

Free Shipping: We occasionally offer free shipping promotions. Check our shop page or newsletter for current offers.

5. Order Tracking

Once your order ships, you will receive an email with:

  • Tracking number
  • Carrier name (USPS, UPS, FedEx, etc.)
  • Direct link to track your shipment
  • Estimated delivery date

You can also track your order through your account dashboard.

Note: Tracking information may take 24-48 hours to update after you receive the shipping notification.

6. International Orders and Customs

6.1 Customs Duties and Taxes

IMPORTANT: International customers are responsible for all customs duties, taxes, and import fees.

These charges are determined by your country's customs office and are not included in the product price or shipping cost. We have no control over these fees and cannot predict the amount.

6.2 Customs Delays

Delays at customs are beyond our control. If your package is held by customs, you may need to contact your local customs office directly.

6.3 Refused or Unclaimed Packages

If you refuse delivery or fail to pay customs fees, resulting in the package being returned to sender:

  • You will NOT receive a refund for the original purchase
  • You will NOT be refunded for shipping costs
  • You may be charged for return shipping if the package is returned to us

7. Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Packages

7.1 Lost Packages

If your tracking shows "delivered" but you did not receive your package:

  1. Check with neighbors or building management
  2. Verify the delivery address on your order
  3. Wait 48 hours (carriers sometimes mark items as delivered early)
  4. Contact us at support@alyssaahoward.com with your order number

We will work with the carrier to locate your package and may offer a replacement or refund if the package cannot be found.

7.2 Stolen Packages

Unfortunately, we are not responsible for packages stolen after delivery. If your package was delivered but stolen from your doorstep, we recommend:

  • Filing a police report
  • Contacting the shipping carrier to file a claim
  • Checking if your renters or homeowners insurance covers stolen packages

We may offer a one-time replacement at a discounted rate as a courtesy, but we are not obligated to do so.

7.3 Damaged Packages

If your item arrives damaged or defective:

  1. Take photos of the packaging and damaged item
  2. Contact us at support@alyssaahoward.com within 7 days of delivery
  3. Provide your order number, photos, and a description of the damage

We will send a replacement at no charge for items damaged during shipping or manufacturing defects.

8. Incorrect or Incomplete Addresses

You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address. We are NOT responsible for orders shipped to incorrect addresses provided by the customer.

If you realize you provided an incorrect address:

  • Before Shipment: Contact us immediately. We may be able to update the address if the order has not yet shipped.
  • After Shipment: Contact the carrier directly with your tracking number to request an address change. Address change fees may apply.

If a package is returned to sender due to an incorrect address, you may be charged for re-shipment.

9. Returns and Exchanges

Quick Summary:

  • Returns accepted within 30 days for defective or damaged items
  • Custom and print-on-demand items are non-refundable unless defective
  • Customer is responsible for return shipping costs (unless item is defective)

10. Order Cancellations

You may cancel your order within 24 hours of purchase, provided it has not yet entered production.

Once an item enters production (printing begins), it cannot be canceled. Print-on-demand items are made to order and begin production immediately after purchase.

To request a cancellation, contact support@alyssaahoward.com as soon as possible with your order number.
